Tier 2 (started before July 1, 2009): half your salary base at 20 years, plus 1/60 of the total you earn after your 20th anniversary. The slider uses your salary base for those later years, which can run a little high.
Tier 3 (started July 1, 2009 or later): a flat 50% at 20 years since Chapter 692 of 2025. Staying longer doesn't raise the percentage. What it buys is the yearly increase: none at 20, building month by month after that, and full once you reach 23 years.
Both tiers, 25 years or more: since May 26, 2026, 5% of your rank's top pay is added to the salary your pension is figured on, plus 1% for each full year past 25, up to 15%.
